Heading our range of forestry equipment is a Ponsse Ergo six wheel harvester. Fitted with a Ponsse H73 cutting head enables the cutting and delimbing of trees up to 600mm in one quick and easy operation.
Capable of 150 tonnes per day the Ergo’s performance is unbeatable on all terrains. The active front axle suspension system makes the ergonomics of the Ergo top-rate. The system keeps the cab upright on uneven terrain and, with its lowered centre of gravity, eliminates the discomfort caused to the operator by swaying from side to side better than any other system.
The Ergo has the powerful features of a large machine, but its agility, low base weight and active suspension system, which evenly spreads its ground pressure, make it suitable for the most fragile terrain and thinning sites.
Since purchasing this machine, it has enabled us to be more economical and efficient therefore allowing us to offer more competitive tenders for work on large woodlands and estates. Working together with our Ponsse and Valmet Forwarders timber can be processed and extracted to a stacking site.
